Eligibility Criteria:

In order to be a part of the award, a Teacher of the year candidate must:
- Belongs to the teaching and education field.
- Made a major and positive difference in the education community.
- Implemented an innovative idea(s).
- Recommended/nominated by at least 5 or more qualified individuals/organizations not related to you.
Eligibility Criteria:

In order to be selected for the award, a Teacher of the year candidate must :
- be working at the time of application, as an English Language Teacher
- have a minimum experience of 3 years of teaching English (including the recent year)
- be a proficient user of English
- have a good level of English language awareness

In order to be selected for the award, a Teacher of the year candidate must :
- be a proficient user of English
- have a good level of English language awareness
- have an experience of preparing students for any 2 standardize English exams for example; TOEFL , ACT, GRE, IELTS
Note that: Education institutions may choose a teacher(s) to participate in the competition or candidates may self-nominate, but must include a letter of recommendation from their school’s principal/college’s principal/University’s dean or other member of the administration, as applicable.
Registration process and timeline:

Step 1:
Please complete the online application form and ‘submit’ it by 15 March 2020 ensuring that all the sections are completed. Click Here
Step 2:
Shortlisted applicants will be required to send us up to 20-minute video in which they highlight their contribution to the society. Emphasizing the impact and influence of their innovative ideas in the community.
Step 3:
Selected applicants will be invited to the final award ceremony where the jurors will announce the winners from out of these applicants.
Our panel of judges will include:
1. English language teacher trainers with an extensive experience of training teachers internationally
2. English language teachers with an extensive experience of teaching English internationally

Judging Criteria:
Application will be judged on the basis of
- Impact of their services
- Significance of their reforms/contributions.
- Effectiveness of the methods implemented.
- Influence beyond the classroom/school.
- Passion to make the world a better place.
Terms and conditions:
- Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted, nor will any that are incomplete on this date.
- Video submitted as part of registration shall become the property of management of Teacher Awards and candidate gives all consents necessary to produce publicity material based on the video, which may be used by the management of Teacher Awards in the media, if required.
- Any kind of cheating/collusion will not be tolerated and subjective candidate will be eliminated with intimation to his/her school.
- Management of Teacher Awards shall be permitted to exclude any candidate at any time at its sole discretion.
- The decision of the judging panels is final in every situation.
- Management of Teacher Awards reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time by posting changes online.
